PELE TO PROMOTE “PELE” IN MOSCOW
The “king of football”, Brazilian Edson Arantes de Nasimentu world-known as Pele going to arrive in Moscow for participation in the advertisement campaign for promotion of the coffee bearing his name.
As to the quality of the today’s football, Pele considers, “if there are good players, football will remain itself. However, unfortunately, today we can see mediocre games. The problem is that now there are no players able to play constantly 4-5 years. One year footballers play well but then they lose their pace.”
Pele rates Zidane and Ronalodo as outstanding players.
Moreover, according to the Brazil Football Confederation, Ronaldo (49 goals) ranks behind Pele who scored 97 goals for his national team. But, Ronaldo intends to break Pele’s record. As mentioned, during his 22-years football career Pele has scored 1280 goals in 1360 matches.
