PEOPLE WILL VOTE IN CONDITIONS OF TRANSPARENCY AND DEMOCRACY
At the zonal seminar held by the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Ganja, a representative of OSCE at the elections, John Hartland said in his speech that openness and transparency at the elections are of great importance for international organizations. He expressed confidence that people will express their will on October 15 in conditions of transparency and democracy.
The seminar was held with the participation of chairmen of 18 regions’ district election commissions. They discussed the actions held on the eve of the elections, shared their views on problems and the way of their solution.
Members of the CEC made reports on the following topics: “Forming up the election commission, its activities, control and interactions between election commissions”, “Making up voters’ register, including voters into the register”, “Equal conditions for presidential contenders, political parties, blocks of political parties during pre-electoral campaign”.
Further, CEC representatives answered the questions of the audience.
