Planning conference held for ‘Power of Unity–2026’ Joint Military Exercise

A planning conference for the "Power of Unity–2026" Joint Military Exercise was held in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The conference, hosted at the Jamshid Nakhchivanski Military Lyceum under the National Defense University, brought together delegations from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
Welcoming the participants, Lieutenant General Azer Aliyev highlighted the successful development of military cooperation among the participating countries. He noted that the primary objectives of the "Power of Unity–2026" Joint Military Exercise are to expand cooperation among the armed forces of the participating nations, enhance the practical skills of military personnel, facilitate the exchange of operational experience, and contribute to sustainable peace and security.
Participants received a comprehensive briefing on the exercise’s objectives, scenario, and the combat training activities to be carried out.
As part of the conference, the delegations conducted a reconnaissance of the designated exercise area and finalized the planned training activities.
The conference concluded with the signing of the final protocol by the participating countries, followed by a comprehensive exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
