PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN CONGRATULATED STAFF OF INTERIOR BODIES
As known, 85 years elapsed since the interior forces of Azerbaijan were established on July 2, 1918. The police of Azerbaijan was created as a necessary institution of the independent state on the resolution of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.President of Azerbaijan Republic Heydar Aliyev congratulated the national police organs and veterans of Azerbaijan police in his letter, whereby he stressed the historical role of the law enforcers in establishment and protection of the national statehood and sovereignty, courageously ensuring security and peace of the population. Head of the Azerbaijani state, in particular, emphasized the years of state independence after 1991 when there was ruling chaos and instability in the Country. Thanks to the wise and expedient policy pursued by the President of Azerbaijan the Interior bodies of the Republic gained high quality in combat against criminality, keeping peace and order at home, as well as fighting against occupants.President of Azerbaijan expressed a hope that the staff of law enforcement bodies would serve protection of national ideals, establishment of safety, stability, and public security in the country, strengthening of Azerbaijani statehood, provision of the supremacy of law and combat against the Armenian occupants.
