‘PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS –2003’ MOVEMENT SUMMED UP RESULTS OF POLL
In his speech, Chairman of the ‘Presidential elections – 2003’ movement Zaur Adigozalov stated that poll was held in different parts of Baku city, from July 10 till August 10 and approximately 1192 inhabitants of the city at the age between 18 and 35 answered to the question ‘Whom of the Presidential contenders you will support at 15 October elections?’.
The first place was given to Ilham Aliyev /over 55.21% of votes/, Isa Gambar and Etibar Mammadov, took the second and third places 13.51 and 8.81% accordingly. They are followed by Ali Karimov /6.79%/, Lala Shovket /4.69%/, Ilyas Ismayilov /3.10%/, Sabir Rustamkhanli /2.01%/ and Gudrat Hasanguliyev /1.01%/. Some 61.5% of the respondents were men, 38.5% - women.
In conclusion, Z.Adigezalov gave detailed information on activity of the ‘Presidential elections – 2003’ movement uniting 38 youth organizations all over the country.
