Office of the US International Educational Council in Azerbaijan has for the first time launched the “Elementary Education Development” project. In the framework of the project financed by the US Department of State, and to bring primary education in the country in line with the western standards, 6 Azerbaijan teachers will take 6-month training course at the Wisconsin University.

According to the joint agreement reached between the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education and the Council, a new system of primary education will be prepared on the base of knowledge acquired by the teachers in the United State.
