Project of strategy development of SOCAR on decrease of aftermath of climatic changes discussed
Baku, 20 October (AZERTAC). SOCAR Ecology Department along with German DIW econ GmbH has worked out the project of strategy development of SOCAR on decrease of aftermath of climatic changes. The strategy includes improvement of energy efficiency in SOCAR enterprises, operating companies, joint ventures, and reduction of hazardous emissions in atmosphere. On Wednesday, discussion of the project took place with specialists of SOCAR structural departments, operational companies, and joint ventures.
Chief of Ecology Department Azar Aliyev spoke of the document and projects on ecology carried out by the company.
Expert of the German DIW econ GmbH Petra Opitz told of the strategy`s action plan and stimulation criteria.
