RADA GETS OK FOR TAKE-OFF
The RADA was created on the initiative of Azerbaijan and Ukraine in Baku, on June 18, 2002, and has already been recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization / ICAO/ and other structures.
AZERTAC correspondent for Ukraine reports that the US Trade and Development Agency / USTDA/ has allocated US $ 666.83 thousand grant to the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Agency (Ukraerorukh).
The relevant agreement was signed on behalf of the Unites States and Ukraine by the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Carlos Pascal and the ‘Ukraerorukh’’s Director General Yury Cherednichenko. The signing ceremony was also attended by the heads of the organizations – Air Navigation services providers - of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova, who signed the Charter of the Regional Air Navigation Services Development Association.
Azerbaijan was represented by the head of ‘Azeraeronavigasiya’ enterprise of the state concern ‘AZAL’ Valery Sultanov, who had been elected for two years as a Chairman of the Council of Association for development of air navigation services.
