REGULAR SESSION OF CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION HELD
As informed to AZERTAC from the press-service of the Central Election Commission, Chairman of the Central Election Commission has brought to attention, that on December 9, 2005, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed the order about conducting re-elections in 10 constituencies, results of elections in which were recognized void. Then, he has informed on the first question of the agenda - the statement of reports of sessions of the Central Election Commission from October 18, on October 19, on October 23, on October 24, on October 26, on October 29, on November 1, on November 4, on November 6, on November 8, on November 9 and on November 10, 2005. The commission has approved reports of the given sessions.
The secretary of Central Election Commission Natig Mammadov has presented for discussion of the Central Election Commission the project of the Planned schedule of the basic actions and actions on preparation and carrying out in a number constituencies on elections in Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic of the third convocation. The Commission has made the decision on the statement of the project of the Planned schedule as a basis.
The session has also considered current questions.
At session of the Central Election Commission there were representatives of the International Fund on Electoral Systems, embassy of USA, mass media.
