SAUDI ARABIA INVITED AZERBAIJAN SPORTSMEN FOR UPCOMING SPORTS DAY
On March 19, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan Ali Hasan Jafar visited National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan Republic and presented invitation for participation at the upcoming first sports day of the Islamic countries to be held in Saudi Arabia, April 2005.
It was noted that participation of Azerbaijan sportsmen at the contests would give an impulse to expansion of the relations between the two countries, become an important step in implementation of the agreement on cooperation of Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan in the field of sports and youth.
