SHAHRIYAR MAMMADYAROV BECAME TWICE WORLD CHESS CHAMPION

The world chess junior championship under 10,12,14 and 18 age groups finished in Khalkidiki, Greece. Shahriyar Mammadov scored a brilliant victory in the under-18 category and became twice world cup winner. His sister Turkan bested Russian Viktoria Tarasova in the 11th tournament and won the silver medal in the under-14 age category.
