Snam Director hails relations with SOCAR

Director for Business Development and International Business at Italian Snam, Federico Ermoli, has praised the company`s ties with Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR.
In an interview with AZERTAC`s Rome-based correspondent, he said “our relations are expanding”.
“We are ready to support the energy project that will carry Azerbaijan`s gas to Europe.”
He said: “TAP is a key project for Europe. It is also important in terms of giving Azerbaijan an access to the European energy market.”
“This project is also a significant step towards diversifying energy supply of Europe and ensuring the continent`s energy security,” Ermoli added.
