SOCAR ANNOUNCED TENDER

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will announce in November its next tender, AzerTAj reported. One million barrel profit oil (135 thousand tons) produced at the Chirag prospect will be sale at the Georgian Supsa port. This is Company’s seventh batch of the profit oil sold current year.

It has to be reminded that SOCAR holds 10 percent of share at the Chirag project operated by BP. Hitherto, in the Chirag prospect, developed since 1997, have been produced 260 million tons of oil.
