Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis meets with Cameroon PM

As part of her working visit to Serbia, Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, met with Joseph Dion Ngute, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cameroon.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of relations between the two countries.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova underlined that Azerbaijan pays great attention to the development of relations with African countries. Emphasizing the cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis highlighted the progress made during Azerbaijan's 4-year chairmanship of this organization and the activities of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network established on the initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The meeting also focused on current state of bilateral relations, and the importance of cooperation and mutual support within international organizations.
The sides discussed the prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries across various areas, including interparliamentary cooperation and the implementation of reciprocal visits.
The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
