“Azerbaijan’s hosting of such a remarkable international event as COP29 is a historic milestone. This is also a significant indicator of Azerbaijan's increasing authority in the international arena,” Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili told AZERTAC.
“It also demonstrates Azerbaijan's rich experience in organizing international events. I wish Azerbaijan delivering the successful hosting of COP29. During my stay in Baku, I saw how actively the preparatory work for this important event was progressing. Therefore, I am confident that this conference will be held at the highest level and will make history," he added.
