STADIUM RECONSTRUCTED

A solemn opening ceremony of the Tovuz city stadium has taken place after the overhaul of the stadium was completed. Deputy head of executive power of Tovuz province Nasib Bagirov, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Association of Football Federations noted that reconstruction of the stadium in line with European standards is another manifestation of President Ilham Aliyev’s support to sports. In the match of the 13 championship of Azerbaijan between Turan (Tovuz) and “Shafa” (Baku) the host team won 4:0.
