A two-days II Republican Scientific Practical Conference “Azerbaijan and Europe: Problems and Prospects of Interrelations” has started its work in Baku Slavonic University. In his opening remarks, Chairma of the conference organizational committee, Dean of the Department of Regionology and Translation, assistant professor S. Hasanov announced that representatives of 14 of Azerbaijan and foreign Higher Educational Establishment were participating in the event. The conference, according to him, will work on sections where the following reports are expected to be delivered: “Azerbaijan and Europe-wide Problems”, “Azerbaijan’s Relations with European Countries: Problems and Perspective”, “Azerbaijan and Caucasus in the Modern European Geopolitics.” The reports will be delivered by 96 students.

Among the guests of the conference, there is a delegation of Ukraine led by Director of the Institute of Social Sciences and International Relations named after Heydar Aliyev under Interregional Academy of Human Resource Management Andrey Kudryachenko. During his conversation with AzerTaj correspondent, A. Kudryachenko said the institute had been founded in 2000, and Azerbaijani students have been studying here as well. He highly appreciated the level of existing relations between the two countries. According to him, the Heydar Aliyev’s policy has had a positive impact on solving many political and economic problems. “Our countries try to solve economic problems to become full member of the European community”, said Andrey Kudryachenko.
