SUCCESS OF “GOMRUKCHU - SUCCESS OF THE WHOLE AZERBAIJANI SPORT”
Responding to the question on history of “Gomrukchu”, vice-president of the National Olympic Committee, president of the sports center “Gomrukchu” Khazar Isayev noted that this team was founded two years ago and the team had proved its worth in the international arena within short time.
“ FC ”Gomrukchu’s” qualifying to the quarter final is the a great achievement of Azerbaijani sport. Our soccer players showed high level of technical and psychological training”, -said Kh. Isayev
Technical Director of the FC “Gomrukchu” Abdulrahim Nurmammadov told about preparations and forthcoming quarterfinal match. According to him, the first 15-18-days training will be held in Moscow, and on October 31 the team will leave for Copenhagen to meet face to face with Danes on November 1. Return clash is due on November 29-30 in Baku.
Skipper Irada Guliyeva thanked the leadership of the NOC, Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism and representatives of the State Customs Committee for supporting “Gomrukchu” and stressed the solidarity and high professionalism of young soccer players.
