Senior trainer of Azerbaijan Gymnastics team Valentina Ukleina received the next degree of referee’s category – III brevet. This decision was adopted during the sitting of the technical committee on Gymnastics of the International Federation of Gymnastics /FIG/. This degree will allow Valentina Ukleina to referee all international competition, Grand Prix finals, world cup stages and European championships. In order to represent Azerbaijan in the world championship she needs to pass another level – international courses in course of which she has to take an exam to the FIG technical committee and referee 20 tournaments.

Grand Prix final in Innsbruck, November 22-23, 2003, will be the first big international competition for Valentina Ukleina. In the world cup stage to be held in Baku in April 2004, she will represent Azerbaijan in the panel of referees.

Valentina Ukleina became the second natiaonal referee who gained III brevet after Larisa Sidorova.
