TURKEY, AZERBAIJAN: LEGAL COOPERATION WIDENS
As stated, Minister of Justice of the Turkish Republic, Security Council member Camil Chichek came to Baku on July 3 on a 2-day visit. In the course of the meeting with Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fikrat Mammadov, the guest was informed in details on judicial and legal reforms, conducted in Azerbaijan. The Ministers exchanged their views on the cooperation in the legal sphere, discussed issues of mutual interest. Then the Program of cooperation between the Ministers of Justice of Azerbaijan and Turkey was signed. Ministers noted the role of this document in strengthening of future cooperation of the two countries in the legal sphere, stressed that the Program of cooperation serves to further development of comprehensive ties between the Ministries of Justice. The same day, the respected guest met with Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farhad Abdullayev and General Prosecutor Zakir Garalov.
