Turkish MP issues statement on March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis
Baku, March 31 (AZERTAC). Turkish MP Sinan Ogan issued a statement on March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.
The statement narrates that Armenian dashnaks backed by the tsarist Russia perpetrated genocide against Azerbaijanis in 1918 with an aim to create the “Great Armenia”.
“The Armenians killed thousands of persons in Baku, Ganja, Shamakhi, Guba, Nakhchivan, Karabakh and other regions of Azerbaijan,” he noted in the statement.
He added Armenia, which accuses Turkey of the so-called “genocide”, committed the true massacre itself.
Sinan Ogan also noted that throughout the history Turks who faced genocides, massacres and tortures in different places of the world have at all times been victorious.
Touching on the Khojaly massacre Turkish MP also said that the genocide perpetrated by Armenians would not be forgotten.
