UAE ATTACHES HIGH SIGNIFICANCE TO AZERBAIJAN RELATIONS
On July 10, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev met with the delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) led by the Minister of Communications Ahmad ben Humaid at-Tayer. Highly appreciating the relations between the two countries, Mr. Guliyev expressed his confidence that current visit would strength the relations and contribute the development of cooperation in numerous spheres. Then, Minister dwelt on democratic reforms conducted in the Republic, the work realized in oil and energy spheres, Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno Garabakh conflict, unbearable plight of the refugees, the problem which impedes establishment of security and development of economy in the country. He expressed his gratitude to the government of UAE and some organizations of this country in rendering assistance to the refugees and IDPs ousted from their lands. Minister of Communications Ahmad ben Humaid at-Tayer, in his turn, noted that his country pays significance on establishment of friendly relations with Azerbaijan. He positively appreciated some bilateral agreements signed in the frame of Baku visit. He hoped that Nagorno Garabakh conflict would be quickly solved by peace way.The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
