UAE COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN
The UAE Communications Minister Ahmet ben Humayd at-Tayyar will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan for 8-10 July. Having initiated the visit, the Embassy of Azerbaijan to UAE has agreed relevant issues with the high official of both countries. As a result, Transports Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Ziya Mammadov has sent an invitation letter to the Minister of C. of UAE.In the course of the visit, Minister at-Tayyar will meet with the top executives of the State and Government of Azerbaijan, relevant ministers and discuss the issues aimed at further strengthening the cooperation between the two states in the fields of transport and telecommunications. In addition, an agreement on air transportation is to be signed between the two governments.As noted, the present visit is supposed to be the first official, carried out at minister level of UAE and the agreement will be the first intergovernmental document.
