UFC Baku: Azerbaijani Fighters Abdullayev, Hasanov win preliminary bouts

Azerbaijani fighters Tahir Abdullayev and Farman Hasanov secured victories in the preliminary card of the UFC tournament held in Baku on Saturday.
Abdullayev defeated Brazil's Jefferson Nascimento, while Hasanov earned a unanimous decision victory over American welterweight Eric Nolan after three rounds.
In other bouts, Brazil's Jean Matsumoto defeated Kazakhstan's Bekzat Almakhan by unanimous decision. Ukraine's Daniil Donchenko stopped Sweden's Theodor Berggren in the second round.
Australia's Turkish-born Kaan Ofli submitted Colombia's Javier Reyes with a choke in the opening round, while Uzbekistan's Nursulton Ruziboev defeated Russia's Andrey Pulyaev via first-round submission.
In the light heavyweight division, Türkiye's Abdul Rahman Yahyaev knocked out American Julius Walker in the opening seconds of the first round, recording one of the fastest victories of the night.
The main card was set to feature Azerbaijani fighters Nazim Sadykhov against Brazil's Mateus Camilo and Rafael Fiziev against Mexico's Manuel Torres in the evening's headline bout.
