Ugandan citizen wins Baku Marathon-2019

Baku, May 5, AZERTAC

Ugandan citizen Ismail Ssenyange has become the winner of the Baku Marathon-2019 held under the auspices of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Iranian Mohammed Jafar Moraidi came second, while Azerbaijan`s Elman Abishov finished third.

The marathon started at the national Flag Square, finishing at Baku Olympic Stadium.

The marathon aims to develop sport and promote healthy lifestyle.
