Ukraine beats Scotland 3-1 in World Cup qualifying playoff semifinal

Ukraine beat Scotland 3-1 Wednesday, putting it one win away from qualifying for the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November, according to Anadolu Agency.
Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring for Ukraine in the 33rd minute and Roman Yaremchuk made it 2-0 in the 49th minute at Hampden Park.
Scotland took one back with Callum McGregor in the 79th minute, but Ukraine’s Artem Dobvyk made the final score 3-1 in the 95th minute.
Wales, which eliminated Austria 2-1 in the semis, will host Ukraine in the playoff final at Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday for a visa to Qatar 2022.
