Ukrainian TV channel broadcasts report about fake news against Azerbaijan

Kyiv, January 26, AZERTAC
The Ukrainian TV channel “Priamyi” has broadcast a video report on the protest staged by Azerbaijani eco-activists on the Lachin-Khankandi road and the fake news Armenian and pro-Russian news portals spread on this issue.
The report features the protest action on the Lachin-Shusha road with the participation of ecologists, activists and volunteers representing non-governmental organizations of Azerbaijan. The environmental activists continue to chant various slogans calling for an end to plunder of natural resources.
According to the report, the Armenian and pro-Russian news portals spread disinformation on Azerbaijan’s allegedly causing a humanitarian crisis in predominantly Armenian-populated Khankandi.
The report also featured opinion of Volodymyr Kreydenko, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, co-chairman of the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani friendship group who noted there is no economic blockade or economic disaster in the Armenian-populated part of Karabakh.
