UN-Habitat: The key goal is to achieve housing accessibility

The Group for Eastern Europe and Central Asia held a meeting within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.
The meeting brought together the representatives from governments, municipalities, the private sector, civil society, youth, the academic community, as well as international organizations from various countries.
Erfan Ali, Director of the UN-Habitat Regional office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, highlighted the demographic changes taking place in the world, noting that the UN-Habitat attaches great importance to meetings with representatives of civil society.
Then, representatives of civil society from Ukraine, Serbia, Georgia, Moldova and other countries spoke about the realities and challenges.
