The UNESCO Baku office published a book of Doctor of the Columbian University Betty A. Reardon ‘Pedagogics of the world culture in gender prospects’. The book was prepared by the RAC Publishing House and translated into Azerbaijani language by the Center for development and women of Azerbaijan under financial support of UNIFEM.

The book is envisaged for qualification improvement of the teaching staff of compulsory education, as well as for methodical aid for tutors of primary schools, AzerTAj correspondent was told by the President of the Center Zemfira Mehdizade.

One of the main aims of UNESCO is to spread world conception over the world that is possible due to the permanent work in the field of education, and first of all, in the schools. Main condition of this conception is to comprehend the equality of men and women rights that once more shows the significance of this edition, Z. Medizade added.
