Video surveillance installed at site of Khojaly monument in Mexico

A modern video surveillance system integrated into the capital city Mexico’s C5 Command, Control, Communications, and Citizen Contact Center has been put into operation at the heart of the city’s Tlaxcoaque Square.
The new system will serve to increase the security of the square and the surrounding area, maintain public order, and intervene more promptly in possible incidents.
As part of the reconstruction of Tlaxcoaque Square in 2012, implemented with the support of Azerbaijan, the Khojaly Monument was erected here to commemorate the victims of the tragedy.
The ceremony to unveil the video surveillance system was attended by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Mexico Seymur Fataliyev and Salvador Guerrero Chiprés, General Coordinator of the C5 of Mexico City (CDMX).
The launch of the new security system reflects the close collaboration between the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico and local Mexican security authorities.
Salvador Guerrero Chiprés shared a post regarding the event on his social media accounts.
