WAR VETERANS TO GET ADDITIONAL INDEMNITY

Individuals who got the war veteran status for their contribution to protection of Azerbaijani territorial integrity and constitutional order will be paid additional indemnities in 2005, Ministry of Finance said. Next year’s budget provides for 25 billion manats to this effect.

The Government also plans to grant one-time allowance from the budget to World War II veterans on the occasion of 60th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.
