He underlined that President Heydar Aliyev has invaluable merits in establishment and preservation of statehood of independent Azerbaijan, providing stability and peace in the country and in Caucasus.
Ilham Aliyev is ready for big politics, he said. He has been in politics for long, was aware of all political events in Azerbaijan, underwent all difficulties with his father in 1980 and early 90s, he is well-educated and has a good political vision.
He wished a good health to President Heydar Aliyev and expressed confidence that Ilham Aliyev will continue policy of his outstanding father.
