Delegation of the experts of World Health Organization and Rostropovich - Vishnevskaya Fund arrived in

Azerbaijan to study readiness of medical establishments to the upcoming March national immunization campaign against measles and roseola. Members of the delegation will visit several regions to hold trainings for the heads of medical establishments and physicians, WHO Baku office told AZERTAC correspondent.

It should be reminded that memorandum on mutual understanding between the participants of this program- WHO, UNICEF, US Agency for International Development /USAID/, US Center for Control over Infectious Diseases, Rostropovich - Vishnevsky Fund and Azerbaijan Ministry of Healthcare has been signed on July 2005.

Total amount of the project, for the first time implementing in the Caucasus region, makes up 3 mln 100 thousand dollars. Persons under 7 -29 will take vaccination as result of campaign.
