WOMEN’S OLYMPIC LICENSE VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT UNDERWAY
After the state anthems were performed, the first were the nationals of Italy and Netherlands. Demonstrating a confident play, in the third game the nationals of Italy defeated the team of Netherlands. The game scored 3-0. It has to be reminded that in the first game the Italian nationals were defeated by Turkish team in four sets, while in the second – they won the nationals of Bulgaria – 3-1.
In the second game, competing were the teams of Germany and Poland. Both teams have two victories. The teams had five sets. Though the third and fourth sets ended in favor of German team, mobilizing their forces, the Poland volleyball players finally won the game – 3-2. Thus, nationals of Poland is leading in the A group.
Then, the floor was taken by the nationals of Turkey and Bulgaria. Volleyball players of Turkey defeated the nationals of Bulgaria with the score 3-1.
On 8 January are expected three games: Germany-Russia, Turkey-Netherlands, and Azerbaijan-Poland.
