WORKSHOP ON SELF-GOVERNMENT HELD
Deputy minister of justice Togrul Musayev spoke of the presidential elections conducted in the Republic on a democratic atmosphere, of the expedient actions undertaken by the leadership in bound with development of local self-government.
Chairman of the Milli Majlis standing committee on regional issues Zahid Garalov dwelt on the issue of creation of the legislation base for activity of municipalities, as well as necessity of prevention of illegal involving in the issue of a number of appropriate organizations.
Program consultant for the local and regional democratic cooperation of the Council of Europe Artemiy Karpenko and other foreign experts spoke of the international experience on determination of the incomes of local bodies.
Also held were discussions with the participation of representatives of the ministry of finance, municipalities and specialists.
