Azerbaijanis hold protest action outside Houston City Hall

The Azerbaijani community living in the city of Houston, U.S. has organized a peaceful protest in front of the Houston City Hall against the illicit exploitation of mineral deposits located in the Azerbaijani territories, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily deployed, as well as the Armenia’s policy of environmental terrorism.

The rally’s main goal is to demonstrate solidarity and support with the ongoing peaceful protests organized by Azerbaijani eco-activists and civil society representatives on the Lachin-Khankendi road.

The protestors chanted slogans such as “Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”, “Armenian terrorism”, “Stop Armenian terrorists!”, “Stop plundering of Azerbaijan’s natural resources!”, “Stop Armenian ecocide!”.

The protesters informed local residents about the Armenia’s ecological crimes committed against Azerbaijan.
