Baku to host 2nd International Tourism Film Festival

Baku, April 21 (AZERTAC). Baku will host the 2nd International Tourism Film Festival (BITFF) in June.

BITFF – is a non-profit cultural event aimed promoting films on various aspects of tourism, defining the most successful films that promote domestic and international tourism. The festival aims to help these films find a broader international audience. The festival also aims to draw attention to the tourism potential of Azerbaijan as one of the international centers with rich historical and cultural heritage.

The festival features several categories, including Country, Region, City, Culture & Tradition, Extreme Tourism, Ecotourism, TV Reports, Commercials, National Award.

In addition to competitive and non-competitive program BITFF includes workshops and discussions among filmmakers, experts in tourism and the media. The official languages of the festival are Azerbaijani and English.

The first Baku International Tourism Film Festival was held in November 2013.

BITFF is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic.
