Conference on Khojaly genocide conducted in UAE
Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). The “Azerbaijan” Society functioning in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, promoted conducting a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The conference was attended by Azerbaijanis living here, representatives of local community, Turks, Iraqi Turkmens and journalists.
Chairman of the “Azerbaijan” Society Samir Imanov informed the conferees on the Khojaly tragedy, the culprits - Armenian nationalists and their patrons who committed this unprecedented crime against Azerbaijanis in the Khojaly town 20 years ago.
Participants watched a documentary depicting those savagery acts of Armenian chauvinists noting the necessity to give legal and political assessment to the genocide of Khojaly on international level.
The local media published materials narrating on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the consequences of this conflict, the measures undertaken by the state of Azerbaijan on international level to solve the problem.
