Five people were killed and 67 wounded in a car bomb attack on Thursday that targeted a military vehicle in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir. Of those dead, two were students and three soldiers.

Thursday’s explosion happened during rush hour in an area close to a military residential complex. The area near the site had been cleared in case of further blasts.

Such acts of terrorism will never break the will to fight terror, Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying.
