EXHIBITION OF JAPANESE POSTERS
Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Tadakhiro Abe expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry for help to organize the exhibition.
‘Japan is one of the first countries which has established diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan’, Ambassador said. ‘Over this period, the ties between two countries in many areas have been constantly developing and strengthening. Japan is known by its peaceableness. That is why we are welcoming the political line of Azerbaijani Government and its contribution in the peace process in Southern Caucasus’, he added.
Exposition includes 75 posters of both traditional and contemporary Japanese art, created by 38 authors. Before coming to Azerbaijan, this mobile exhibition funded by the Japan Foundation, was organized in France, Greece, Croatia, Serbia, Slovakia, Finland and Norway. After its completion in Baku, the exhibition will be hosted in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
