Your country carries out major social transformation and cherishes a unique culture and national traditions. The effective solution of problems facing the state, the consistent strengthening of your republic`s authority on the international arena have rightfully earned you a reputation as an experienced and visionary politician.

I value the warm personal relationship existing between us. Our regular communication, which takes place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the dynamically developing trade and economic ties, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, productive inter-regional contacts are important factors for building up the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership. Our mutual interest in strengthening the all-round multi-faceted bilateral cooperation consistently enriches our interstate cooperation with new major projects and initiatives.

I am convinced that thanks to our joint efforts relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, based on centuries-old traditions of good neighborliness, will continue to flourish. This fully meets the interests of our citizens, the tasks of ensuring stability and security in the Caucasus and the Caspian region.
