Global Baku Forum: Is extremism and populism biggest threat to international security?

The 5th Global Baku Forum has featured the session named “Is extremism and populism the biggest threat to international security?”.
Moderator of the session Kateryna Yushchenko, former first lady of Ukraine, said today terrorism, religious extremism and aggressive separatism are the biggest threat to the global peace and security.
Former President of Romania Emil Constantinescu, former Prime Minister of Latvia Laimdota Straujuma, former Foreign Minister of Turkey Hikmet Cetin, founder of the Oxford Research Group Scilla Elworthy, President of Green Cross International Alexander Likhotal, former Libya's Ambassador to the European Union Farida Allaghi and member of the Institute of International and European Affairs of Ireland, Ambassador Francis O'Donnell made speeches at the event.
