Head of Azerbaijan’s Presidential Administration attends 6th meeting of CIS Security Council secretaries in Moscow

Moscow, November 21, AZERTAC

A delegation led by head of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev has attended the 6th meeting of the CIS Security Council secretaries in Moscow.

The meeting agenda included the current military and political situation in Afghanistan, the measures to ensure security in the Central Asian region and issues of preventing spread of radical religious ideas within the CIS area.

Head of Azerbaijan's Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev delivered a report at the event. In his speech, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev drew the audience's attention to the positive experience of Azerbaijan on the issues discussed at the meeting.

In his meetings with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Stanislav Zas, head of the Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev discussed the issues relating to bilateral cooperation on ensuring security.
