The “resolution on Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey at the beginning of the last century was again excluded from the agenda of the US Senate session”, the “Washington Times” reported. On this very day, as the pro-Armenian the senators hoped, the Congress had to vote on the said resolution and the US budget. However, considering the incompatibility of these two questions, the discussion of the ‘Armenian genocide’ was postponed for later. “The group of pro-Armenian senators intend to include the resolution on the so-called ‘Armenian genocide’ into the agenda of one of the sessions of American Senate in more convenient time”, the newspaper informs.
