Number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan is expected to increase by 10 percent

Baku, April 27 (AZERTAC). The number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan is expected to increase by 10 percent, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev told the reporters.

According to the Minister, electronic visa application will increase the number of tourists visiting Azerbaijan.

"Every year, the number of tourists visiting our country usually increases by 10-15 percent. Azerbaijani tourist companies are very interested in joining this project. I believe that this will have a positive impact on the number of tourists", the minister said.

“It is necessary to finalize specific technical issues in the introductions of an electronic visa system, I think we will be fully prepared for the summer season”, the Minister added.
