PCR test for COVID-19 cancelled for Azerbaijan entry

The requirement for presenting a PCR test for COVID-19 when entering Azerbaijan has been abolished, press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC

Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, signed an order to make changes to the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 199 “On temporary rules of organization of flights and passenger transport during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated 11 June 2020 and Resolution No. 151 “On actions related to prolongation of the period of the special quarantine regime and elimination of some restrictions” dated 26 May 2021.

Under the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 14 April 2022, the following is effective from 15 April 2022:

The requirement for presenting a negative PCR test for COVID-19 for entry into Azerbaijan is abolished.

Passengers are no more required to present a negative PCR test for COVID-19 in domestic flights.

Passengers, who travel on the Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku regular bus route through the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, are no more required to present negative PCR test for COVID-19 in domestic flights.
