PRESENTATION OF DOCUMENT HELD

On 4 October, at the Council of Europe Headquarters, with the participation of the CE Secretary General Mr. Walter Schwimmer and head of the permanent representation of Azerbaijan at the Organization Agshin Mehdiyev, was held a ceremony of presentation of the Document on ratification by the Republic of Azerbaijan of the anti-doping Convention.

According to the information, received from the CE contract department, for the Azerbaijani side the Convention comes into force after three months after admission to the deposit, i.e. since 1 February 2004. The said Convention aims at strengthening of combat against use of doping in the member-states in the field of sports and health.
