REGULAR MEETING OF CHAIRMEN OF PARLIAMENT TO BE HELD IN MOSCOW

A parliamentary delegation of the Milli Majlis led by its Chairman Murtuz Alasgarov will stay from September 28 to 1 October for an official visit in Moscow to participate in the regular meeting of Chairmen of Parliaments of the South Caucasus countries.

According to the press-service of the Milli Majlis, the delegation consists of Chairman of the parliament’s Standing Commission for Agrarian Policy Eldar Ibragimov, Chief of the Milli Majlis Administration’s Department of international relations Azer Gasimov, and Permanent representative of the legislative body to the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly Aydin Jafarov.

Participants of the meeting initiated by Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Russian Federal Assembly Sergei Mironov are expected to exchange views on social and political situation in the region, ways of regional conflicts resolution, elimination of the factors impeding development of inter-sate relations and expanding inter-parliamentary co-operation.
