Russian grandmaster Peter Svidler has secured his second win over his compatriot Sergei Karyakin as the two lock horns in a four-game final at World Cup Baku Open tournament.
Svidler emerged victorious after the 38th move. The third game of the encounter will be played on Saturday.
If the winner is not determined after four games the two will play a tie-break.
