Working group on North-South international transport corridor to be created

A working group on the North-South international transport corridor will be set up, according to Azerbaijan Railways.

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov was part of an Azerbaijani delegation, led by Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev, that visited Tehran. As part of the visit Gurbanov met Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Ahmad Akhundi, deputy minister, director general of Iran`s Railroad Mohsen Purseyid Aghayi.

During the meetings, the sides stressed the importance of the "North-South" international transport corridor for the two countries, and agreed to establish a working group.
